I have applied E-visa through evisa.gov.vn website for 3 of us on 6th March 2025 for a travel date of 16th March 2025. The application is still showing under processing. How many days it takes to receive my E-visa? If it gets delayed can I travel and land on 17th March in Hanoi airport?

@Sougat Mohapatra, unfortunately, we cannot say exactly how long it will take to get your visa — normally, it takes about 3–5 working days. Yes, you can travel anytime on or after your visa start date and leave before the visa expiry date stated on the e-visa.

@Romit, if you stay within the transit area at Hanoi airport and do not pass through customs, you will not need a visa (to visit Phu Quoc Island). However, if you need to exit the transit area for any reason, a visa will be required.

@Radhika V, sure, you can pay for the e-visa using a debit card. However, internet banking options are not available. Be sure that your debit card is enabled for international transactions (VND) to avoid any issues during payment.

@Subhojit Roy, You can find the answers below:

  • If a child has their own passport, they will require a separate visa, just like their parents. The same fee will apply.

  • Indian passport holders are eligible for the e-visa program. You can visit this page for information on the procedures and required documents.

  • An e-visa is an electronic document, so you only need to print it out and bring it with you to Vietnam. No additional papers, fees, or other requirements are necessary.
