Vietnam Visa Cost 2026
Vietnam visa fees are officially set by the Immigration Department and published on the government e-visa system (evisa.gov.vn). For the common tourist/visitor visas (DL1/DL2, EV), the fee is USD 25 for a single-entry visa and USD 50 for a multiple-entry visa, both valid for up to 90 days when applying directly on the official website. These online application fees are non-refundable, even if the application is rejected.
E-visa fees
For an e-visa application, the cost is 25 USD for a single-entry visa and 50 USD for a multiple-entry visa to Vietnam, both valid for up to 90 days.

Visa on arrival fee
To get a visa on arrival you will need to pay for two fees: (1) visa letter service fee - payable at time of application and (2) stamping fee- payable when arriving at Vietnam's airport. The actual cost will depend on the type of visa you’re applying for.
- The visa letter service fee varies depending on the type of visa you want to obtain and how fast you want to get the service delivered.
- The stamping fee is fixed: As of now, it is $25 USD for single entry visa and $50 USD for multiple entry visa. Payment must be made in cash in USD or VND (Credit cards might not be accepted and there is no ATM machines within the custom area) and may change with advanced notice.

@Georgina Nicoll, according to the official e-Visa website: “Foreigners outside Viet Nam” this means you are not eligible for the e-visa if you are currently in the country. Therefore, you will need to either leave the country or consider extending your current visa.
