Vietnam Visa Cost 2023

Vietnam Visa Cost 2023

How much does a visa on arrival cost? You can use our calculator tool below to estimate the visa on arrival fee for Vietnam.

To get a visa on arrival you will need to pay for two fees: (1) visa letter service fee - payable at time of application and (2) stamping fee- payable when arriving at Vietnam's airport. The actual cost will depend on the type of visa you’re applying for.

  • The visa letter service fee varies depending on the type of visa you want to obtain and how fast you want to get the service delivered.
  • The stamping fee is fixed: As of 2023, it is $25 USD for single entry visa and $50 USD for multiple entry visa. Payment must be made in cash in USD or VND (Credit cards might not be accepted and there is no ATM machines within the custom area) and may change with advanced notice.

Hi! I am planning to visit Vietnam next month and I will come from Phnom Penh, Cambodia by bus to Ho Chi Minh City. I know I can get a 15 days visit without a visa but I would like to stay 1 month ( single entry ). Do I have to apply the visa before I come or can you just do it on the border when you arrive? I am from Finland. Thank you.

@Christine Ha, Please find the answers to your questions below:

  • You do not need a visa for Vietnam if your Vietnamese passport is still valid.

I've read online that the following eligibility : (just to be safe and avoid causing any issue during traveling) 1) Malaysian Passport holders required no entry visa for stay of maximum 30days in Vietnam. 2) United Kingdom passport holders British nationality are exempted from Visa for a 15 days stay in Vietnam. Can you help me to confirm if we dont need to apply e-visa please. Many thanks

I am currently in Indonesia and plan on going to Vietnam on June 15th. After staying in Vietnam for about 3 weeks, I plan on going to Thailand for another 3 weeks. After that, I already have a flight booked from Hanoi to Washington DC. Would it be better for me to get a multiple entry visa? Or should I just apply for another single entry visa while I am in Thailand?

@Jeremiah Shea, Currently, multi-entry visas are not available. Therefore, the only option is to apply for another single-entry visa when you are in Thailand to re-enter Vietnam.
