I hold both a British and Canadian Passport and reside in Canada. My wife and I are traveling to Vietnam at the end of November and are wondering if I need to apply for the e-visa if I am traveling on my UK passport?

@Mark Allen, if you hold a valid UK passport, you can use it to visit Vietnam for a 45-day visa-free stay in the country, regardless of where you are residing or flying from.

We are US citizen and will be travelling on a celebrity cruise entering Vietnam by ship on 3 different cities: Hanoi on 11/18/23, Danang on 11/20/23 and Ho Chi Ming city on 11/22/23. I understand that we can get an e-visa online. Can you please let me know if I need to get a single entry visa or multiple entries visa?

@Jennifer Lacy, If you visit multiple cities in Vietnam on a single trip, you will need a single entry visa only.

I am a British passport holder but am living in Australia. I will be flying from Australia to Vietnam. Do I need a visa? (it's not clear whether the country information is based on passport only, or if it also requires you to be departing from your passport country)

@Alexandra Kong, If you hold a valid UK passport, you are exempt from visa requirements for 15 days, no matter where you fly to Vietnam from, whether it's Australia or the United Kingdom.

I recently booked a trip to Vietnam, departing from Canada at the start of November. I understand that while I reside in Canada, I have a Nigerian passport and would require a visa from the Embassy or a visa on arrival with a visa approval letter. Could I be advised on how to get the visa application process started with the appropriate forms and requirements?
