Transit visa for 6 hours
I have a question, as EU citizen (Italy) for up to 15 days I do not need visa, in my case I will be 15 days in Vietnam, travel from Barcelona to Hanoi, after that I will go to Japan for 1 week in Japan and then I will get back to Hanoi (just to stay at the airport for 6 hours) for waiting my next flight from Hanoi to Barcelona (my home town now)
Do I need a visa for just 6 hours waiting my next flight to Barcelona? I will not go to the city, I will remain at the Hanoi Airport? If I need visa, is there any In transit visa? Or definitely I need single entry Visa?
If your second entry is just for the transit flight back to Barcelona and you do not leave the customs area, you will not need a visa in this case.
We are planning to visit Vietnam from 3 April - 18 April 2020. I have a UK passport and my husband has an Italian passport, can you confirm if we need a visa ? (Jennifer Castaldo)
As we know the visa-free is temporarily unavailable for Italian passport holders. Therefore we advise that you contact the embassy of Vietnam in London to obtain a visa for Vietnam.
For UK passport holder, you are exempt from Vietnam visa for 15 days, thus you do not need a visa.
