How to apply for a Vietnam visa in Tokyo
Foreign nationals in Tokyo can obtain a visa through one of the following three methods:
E-Visa (Recommended)
Apply online at: https://evisa.gov.vn
- Valid for tourism, business, short visits
- Single or multiple entry (up to 90 days)
- Entry by air, land, or sea
- Processing time: 3–5 working days
- Official fee: USD 25–50 (~ JPY 3,366-6,732)

Visa at the Embassy in Tokyo
Required for:
- Work visa (LD/DN)
- Student visa (DH)
- Investor, long-term, or official visa
Steps:

- Prepare passport, photos, visa form, invitation letter (if required)
- Submit in person at the embassy
