Vietnam Airlines to test out e-business website
Vietnam Airlines launched the version of its business website on December15, allowing internet book tickets online for domestic flights before paying directly at its ticket-offices across the country
Information about the flights and other services and products of the national carrier will also be updated many times per day.
Vietnam Airlines will offer online payment via the world’s most popular kinds of credit cards, namely VISA, MASTER, AMEX, JCB and Diner Club, first for domestic flights, then also for its international flights from February 2009.
When completed by June 2009, the website will have a full range of utilities for customers such as information about flight schedules and fares, online booking and payment, re-scheduling flights, and incentives for regular customers.
Vietnam Airlines will also expand online payment to debit cards, ATM cards and SMSs.
This is part of the carrier’s commitment to serving customers better with more useful, less time-consuming services. (VOV NEWS)
