Hi, I have a friend from Indonesian who is going to stay with me for at least 3 months. I understand that for indonesians they can enter vietnama nd stay without visa for one month. So can she apply for the 3 months multiple entry visa dating a month later than the date of arrival using the visa on arrival? Thanks.

we are afraid that if she applies for a 3 month visa, it will start from the date she provides, not from the date her visa exemption expires.

I am traveling on standby to Vietnam. What will happen if my date of arrival is different from the one on the visa Could I arrive in Vietnam earlier or later then the specific date?

The date of arrival is flexible, however, you can only arrive later and before the visa expires. Arriving earlier my lead to decline on entry at Vietnam airport.
