Hanoi Noi Bai Airport is the largest airport in northern Vietnam. The airport is around 45 km (28 miles) and takes 35-40 minutes by taxi to the city center.

By Minibus

Airport Minibus offers transportation directly to your hotel or residence in Hanoi.

Airport Minibus one way trip costs VND 22,000 for Vietnamese or VND 32,000 (US$2) for foreigners. Minibuses leave the airport when it is full

Taxi

You may also catch a taxi at Noi Bai airport terminal arrivals level. Airport taxi costs a fixed VND 160,000 (US$10) for a sedan, VND 190,000 (US$12) for an SUV (toll charges are included in the price).

Public Bus

Public bus routes are available from airport to the city center. The bus #7 connects airport and Kim Ma bus station, the number 17 will get you to the Long Bien bus station. The fare is fixed and cost 0.5 USD, however, we do not recommend as it is very crowded, moreover, you also need to transfer from bus station to your hotel.
