I'm a Japanese and wish to go to Ho Chi Minh City for travel together with my friend who reside in Thailand.(Citizen of passport is Thailand) I attempt online application for my friend too, however, there is no Nationality (Thailand) to be choosed in "Visa Requirement". Please advise how can I proceed furthermore to get for group of 2 applicants.

We intend to spend about 3 weeks in Viet Nam and Cambodia in February(2012). We will initially enter and spend a few days in Saigon. If we then take a boat trip from Saigon up the Mekong River to see the ruins at Ankorwaht(sp?) for a few days will we need additional visas or other travel documents to enter Cambodia and return to Viet Nam? We also want to travel to Phu Quoc island for a few days...will this require additional travel documents?

Hi My wife and I will be traveling to Vietnam in mid October. Entering in Hanoi and eventually end up in Ho Chi Min. From Ho chi Min we may decide to travel to Cambodia for a few days and come back to HO Chi Min and fly home from there. We will be in Vietnam a total of 29 days. IF we get a single entry visa but decide to visit Cambodia and return to Ho Chi Min once we are there, would it be difficult to re-enter Vietnam to fly home. Would we have to buy another single entry?

Hi, I am a Canadian citizen and living in Vancouver BC. I am planning to travel in Asia. During my visit in China, I will go on a cruise trip in Sanya and the cruise will take me to one of Vietnamese ports for a day. What kind of visa application procedure can I follow? Can I apply visa online? Does the Visa on Arrival work for my situation?

My husband and I would like to travel to Vietnam overland by bus from Vientiane. Is it possible to organise a visa at the border crossing? Or is a visa only possible to obtain via your service at airports?

I was wondering if I could get some advice please. I have booked my ticket to travel around South East Asia From start of November 2011-Feb 2012. (Thailand/Laos/Vietnam and finally Cambodia.)

I was under the impression I could apply for a 30 day tourist Visa for Vietnam from Bangkok, and cross over at the border crossing from Laos (Most likely at Tay Trang- Dien Bien Phu.)

However I have recently been told by my flight company that I have to order it from the UK before I leave. Could youb please confirm for me if this is the case, and what the best way to go about it is considering the time scale.

I would really appreciate any advice you could offer, im a female planning on travelling alone so I really want to feel confident that the process of crossing borders is going to be ok.

My husband and I are traveling to Thailand in December and will be there for 2 months in that time we are hoping to visit Vietnam , we do not know the dates that we would be in Vietnam is it possible to get a visa at the border instead of pre arranging it online.

Hello, I plan on arriving in Ho Chi Minh City on the 1st of October for a vacation. I plan on staying there for a few days, then to take a flight to Hanoi to travel North Vietnam with a friend for one more week. I was wondering what kind of Visa am I required to have for this kind of trip? I am leading a Sierra Club trip to Vietnam in February/March, 2012, and have listed you as one of the options for obtaining a Vietnam visa. Can you please tell me how much it costs to obtain a Vietnam visa (1 month) through the USA Vietnam embassy? Two years ago it cost $65 but one of my trip participants recently told me that it has increased to $80.00 (for a 1-month visa).
